CULTURE

At Mantle, what underpins everything is a deep respect for each person’s contribution and perspective. We believe that cultivating genuine, long-lasting relationships is what makes the often challenging work we do fun, rewarding, and fulfilling. When people thrive it shows in the work.

We are a close-knit team that values the support, mentorship and camaraderie that open collaboration and sharing brings. Together, we foster a healthy exchange of ideas, whether that be in our work, our profession, the arts, culture or simply things that we are personally passionate about. In our studio, everyone is encouraged to be open, honest and feel comfortable pushing the bounds of what they know. We view our relationships, internally and externally, as the foundation of a successful practice and believe in the collaborative authorship of projects – no one person can be successful alone. And, we like to find fun wherever we can, celebrating the daily victories as much as the big milestones.

We are a 100% women-owned and certified small small business that embraces diversity and inclusion in both our work and practice. Deeply committed to professional development and mentorship, each employee has a professional development stipend and strategy with annual goals to help them advance their careers. In fact, Mantle was specifically designed to breathe new life into the status quo of landscape architectural practice and we continue to evolve as we grow, encouraging input and ideas along the way.
